Sample Essay About Crime Investigation and Ethical Dilemma of Johnny Jones and the Undercover Unit

Sample Essay About Crime Investigation and Ethical Dilemma of Johnny Jones and the Undercover UnitAfter spending the weekend with the high school senior Johnnie Jones, 'Making a Murderer' has picked up another interesting storyline. The same college student is now convinced that Manitowoc police officer Steven Avery didn't commit the crime of Teresa Halbach. This college student took the case of Avery's innocence to court and won after successfully arguing the Avery had been framed by the legal system in this case. It seems like the same issue is also in play here with the college student having doubts on the death of Teresa Halbach. In other words, Jones is still questioning the police story. Why did he, Johnnie Jones, take this type of action? For one, he believes this could lead to justice. Secondly, he believes this could actually help others in similar situations, including himself. Finally, he feels that the person he knew who he feels is guilty is likely to be convicted, althoug h he isn't certain how or if the legal system will change its strategy. Not only did Jones take the legal route, but he also reached out to the local media. He has attempted to interview different local news stations to give him credibility in this case, despite his conviction for it.In any case, I find it interesting that Jones was able to contact the local news stations to his advantage in proving his innocence and that of the other Avery family members. Even though many of the local stations chose not to interview him, I did find at least one that did.To further help him build his case, Jones said he would be writing a brief essay about how the entire Avery case is a conflict of interest with the Wisconsin Police Department. Since the Wisconsin State Police is investigating, the fact that they are involved makes this all seem suspicious. This also seems to be the very same reason why the world who really knows more about the case is willing to come forward to help the Avery family. These are just a few of the points Jones is trying to get across. With the publicity of this case gaining popularity, he needs to be using as many resources available to him to make his case stronger. If you are thinking about going after a college degree, why not consider a case like Jones'. His case has more potential to build his career as well as convince the public he really is innocent. Also, it is really important to remember the time of the murder and the task force, as well as find some sort of peace of mind in the subject.
