In preparation for this assignment, I first asked triplet college students, and three adults all of different races and backgrounds, In regards to society, when the word privilege numerates to mind, what do you think of? I did this to give rise the perspectives of psyches who are not in the screen out, also, to help spark ideas that for stool drive this assignment. To my surprise, it was quite kindle to find that the older persons responses did not differ from the younger ones. in all of the responses were very similar, all mentioning some sort of preconceived opinion, or esteem towards a particular group.
Privilege is defined as a right, immunity, or benefit enjoyed only by a person beyond the advantages of most. As far I green goddess understand it, it almost seems like privilege is something that youre born(p) into, it is not earned but rather just move upon you in a sense. organism forced to grow up with it an effort is never made to change any of the bias counselings, and therefore privilege continues. With privilege comes a sense of actor, and with power comes discrimination and prejudice of all sorts, which is never a adept thing. Historically from a racial and socioeconomic standpoint, which is what I will focus on, the white man has always had privilege over any other race. Also the wealthy more so than any other class.



Privileges such as opportunities, service at a restaurant, just the way they are viewed by others. eon an individual may think that they have never see privilege, I am positive everyone has in one way or another in some sort of setting, not necessarily by race or socioeconomic class but in some shape or form.
Being a part of the black or African American race, we encounter privileges daily. Due to our race, it may be easier for us to get a job, just so an employer can attempt to contain a diverse work environment.
